Library services, informatics, and bibliothecography play key role in the dissemination of knowledge, and information management for business organisations and higher institutions. Therefore, the importance of international best practices in the organisation of library materials cannot be overemphasised. The international workshop on data and library management programme focuses on management of data, data exploration and mining for personal and research use, handling of organisation data, and the implications of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on developing countries. The training workshop will also enlighten participants on the best practices, perspectives, tools of management of information technology and education, as well as the collection, organisation, preservation, and dissemination of information resources. It will address the political economy of informatics especially in higher institutions.
