Women play vital roles in supporting their spouses to excel in various leadership positions including in the administration of universities. The Women in Academics & Leadership international workshop has been specifically designed for women in academic leadership, spouses of commissioners, vice-chancellors, women leaders in government and in the private sector. This 3-day workshop is designed to give women in academics and leadership an opportunity to critically reflect on their leadership journey and to enable them to develop their authentic approach to leadership which aligns to their values. The common saying ‘When you educate a woman, you educate a village’, demonstrates that women are powerful forces of change.
